Dative

Introduction

The BaSIS project is using Dative (GUI to the Online Linguistic Database (OLD)) as database software. This is currently available as a web application (works best with Google Chrome, not Internet Explorer) and an offline version is planned.

Update 2025

On 2nd September 2024, Dative was migrated to a server run by INT/CIPL and the URL was changed. The databases are now available from the URL dative.test.ivdnt.org (for the list of OLDS, see http://dative.test.ivdnt.org/olds/). This is not yet updated in the offline tutorial document linked below.

Offline tutorial

I’ve written an offline tutorial for Dative; you can download the latest version Dative_Tutorial_v2_3. Please feel free to email me for comments to help improve future versions.
